2. Greek minuscule manuscript model built

2020-2021

1. Continued updates to expand the Greek minuscule model using online manuscripts at the Center for the Study of NT Manuscripts (CSNTM) and the INTF New Testament Virtual Manuscript Room (NTVMR)

2. 2020-21 presentations at the:

  • IGNTP Textual Criticism Thursday online seminars

  • NOBTS

  • International SBL meetings in Adelaide and Canterbury (approved, though cancelled due to the pandemic)

3. Received patent pending with international license status

4. Trademark for Omnitext approved

5. Coding began on Omnitext; engine and reports completed

6. Used prototype to support the INTF date change for GA 35

2022-2023

1. 2022 presentations:

  • the International SBL conference in Salzburg, Austria, and

  • the CSNTM Text and Manuscript Conference in Dallas, TX

2. Integration of Omnitext with the NTVMR for user interaction

  • to allow an international community of scholars to correlate manuscripts against the Omnitext model

  • to expand the Omnitext model with data from NTVMR correlations

  • to engage students with manuscripts and help them learn to read manuscripts

3. In the fall semester, 2022, a TC grad student at Birmingham Theological Seminary tested the process of making Omnitext Correlations against minuscule manuscripts 

2023-2024

2. Omnitext Correlations

  • In the spring semester, 2024, advanced Greek undergrad students in Classics at Samford University made Omnitext Correlations against minuscule manuscripts to help them learn to read manuscripts.

  • In the summer semester, 2024, NOBTS PhD students made Omnitext Correlations to increase their manuscript reading skill and to date the manuscripts.

  • In the fall semester, 2024, classes at Samford and BTS performed Omnitext Correlations.
