1. Where did you get the fonts for the model? 

The shapes were created with CorelDRAW, a vector-based software program, to demonstrate all of the variations of letters and ligatures identified in the manuscripts included in the model. 

2. Why doesn't Omnitext use handwriting scripts?

Omnitext uses a more granular level of data appropriate for implementing the decision tree ensembling methodology. While handwriting scripts are valuable for the history of handwriting, they simply are not unique enough for our coding purposes.
